Life is Too Short

I don't know why I have such a hard time conveying my thoughts/feelings to ppl if it's not in written form. There are times when I just want to scream from frustration of keeping it all in, but even then unfortunately, I still can't manage to just say what has to be said. I suppose it was also the reason I ended up staying in AD for so long, simply because I couldn't work up the nerve to tell the father I had had enough and wasn't going to stay up there any longer. Everything happens for a reason though, and I'm grateful to the little guy who reminded me that "Life is too short". It is too short, much too short to waste it being stuck in a place that in no way benefits my person neither physically nor mentally. I had concocted an elaborate plan of escape which probably would have had some unwanted consequence to it, but then I gave it some thought. I'm not a child anymore and there is no reason I should have to sneak around just to do things that are totally lawful and acceptable by normal and religious standards. With all of that in mind I left AD despite being grounded over some 'misunderstanding' of speeding fines on the accursed SUV I had been driving. The father was livid and I got an earful of growling and what not, but it was totally worth my independance.
I was so happy I immediately called my friend to play tennis that very evening. Since Sunday I've played tennis every day of this week. It's pretty humid out but I'm not going to let that dampen my fun and I fully intend to make up for all the days I missed tennis.
I'm looking for a job, though I have one that is waiting on a final interview - hopefully they'll call me tomorrow inshalla. And apart from the consecutive days of bed hugging till late afternoon, I think I've been doing pretty good in the using-time-wisely-department. Lol, so much so that I've even started Gone With the Wind, a book I had once termed as "Traumatizingly huge" - which it really is, considering I discovered it has over a thousand pages. It's not normally my type of book, but surprisingly I'm rather enjoying it. I imagine with my reading speed it will take me a couple of months to finish it though. (Gomen BW).
Gosh it's already after 3am and I am wasted. I'm too tired to proofread, Lord be with you all =P

It's a song I heard while watching a clip from Criminal Minds. I liked the words, totally conveys what I feel at times. Hence I had to save it on my blog.
