Sux to be Mortal...

Is it so hard for you, those words?
I wait and wait, for them to be heard
Is it so foreign, a taboo you disdain?
I begin to believe I am but a raw pain
Deny this you will, for fear of the truth?
Speak of your mind, I won't hold you uncouth
I wonder, if ever or never, they'll come
Never, more likely, you effect to be numb
Here I am waiting, when will they come?
I guess you won't say them for just anyone....

wow, that was very expressive, MashaAllah. I'm sorry that you didn't get to hear those words that you wanted to hear, whether they were "you're great/i love you/sorry, etc."

Ironically enough, I wrote a poem about the same subject which I titled "How the Silence Roars"....

Thanx you guys..

Lol it just occured to me that u write ur comments in singular first person but then sign it as plural (twinkies) :P I should start calling you guys Twinkie M and Twinkie A ;)

Yallah ur going to have to show me ur poem. Btw, there's this girl from the english department that writes poetry. She read some of them during the reading club meeting. I was amazed. Her poetry seems to reach out and touch ur inner soul wallah! I loved it.

LOL, yeah, on a forum we were on, they used to comment on our "we"/ "I" change in a sentence. They were like "is there really more than one of you " or are you like schizo or something? ;)

but you who knows us in real life, knows there are two of us....:)

as for the poem, it was written by twinkie a, so the last part of the comment was twinkie a's ;)

:)
